1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the Valkyrie Security Group corporate website at valkyriesecuritygroup.com, including its contact form (the “Site”). The Site provides information about Valkyrie Security Group and protecting critical operations; it is not an online store or customer account service.

This policy covers information collected through the Site. A link from the Site to another website does not make that website subject to this policy.

2. Data controller

Valkyrie Security Group LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (“Valkyrie Security Group,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), operates the Site and is responsible for the personal information covered by this policy.

3. Information we collect

The information we collect depends on how you interact with the Site.

Contact and inquiry information
When you use the contact form, we collect your name, business email address, message, and any other information you choose to include in that message. We also receive the resulting correspondence if we respond to you.
Network and device information
When you visit the Site, our systems and service providers may process your Internet Protocol (IP) address, request date and time, requested URL, referring page, browser and operating-system type, device and language settings, request headers, network and system configuration information, approximate country or region derived from your IP address, and performance or error data.
Security and bot-detection information
Cloudflare and the Site may process a Turnstile token and validation result, IP address, user-agent information, hostname, site key, browser and device characteristics, Transport Layer Security (TLS) characteristics, and other technical signals used to distinguish people from automated traffic and to detect spam, fraud, or abuse. The contact form also includes a hidden anti-spam field.

Sensitive information

The Site is not designed to collect sensitive personal information. Please do not include government identification numbers, payment-card or financial-account information, health or biometric information, passwords, authentication credentials, or other confidential or sensitive material in the contact form. If you voluntarily include other personal information in a message, we will process it as part of your inquiry.

4. How we collect information

We collect information in the following ways:

  • Directly from you, when you submit the contact form, correspond with us, or otherwise provide information to us.
  • Automatically from your browser or device, when it connects to the Site, requests content, loads the Cloudflare Turnstile security check, or otherwise interacts with our network infrastructure.
  • From service providers, when Cloudflare supplies security or request information and when Postmark delivers contact-form messages on our behalf.

5. How we use information

We use personal information for the following purposes:

  • to provide, operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the Site;
  • to deliver your contact-form message, respond to your inquiry, and evaluate or manage a potential or existing business relationship;
  • to protect the Site, our systems, and others; verify that contact-form submissions are made by people; and detect, prevent, and investigate spam, fraud, abuse, security incidents, and other harmful activity;
  • to enforce our Terms of Use, establish or defend legal claims, comply with law, and respond to lawful requests; and
  • for another purpose that we explain when we collect the information or that you authorize.

Legal bases where applicable

Where a law requires us to identify a legal basis, we rely on our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Site, responding to inquiries and developing business relationships; steps taken at your request before entering into a contract or performance of a contract; compliance with legal obligations; and consent where consent is required. You may withdraw consent at any time, but withdrawal does not affect processing that already occurred lawfully.

6. Cookies and security technology

We use Cloudflare to deliver the Site, protect against security threats, and screen automated traffic with Turnstile.

Cloudflare security features may use cookies or process browser and network information to protect the Site and check contact-form submissions. Blocking security features may affect your ability to access the Site or submit the form. See Cloudflare’s cookie documentation for information about its security cookies.

7. How we disclose information

We disclose personal information only as described below or as otherwise disclosed to you when the information is collected.

Cloudflare
Cloudflare provides the Site’s network, hosting and content delivery, Workers, security, and Turnstile. These services process network and device information, request metadata, security signals, and Turnstile information. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy and Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
Postmark
We use Postmark to transmit contact-form submissions to our contact mailbox. Your name, email address, and message are transmitted through Postmark for that purpose. We configure those messages without open or link tracking. See Postmark’s Data Processing Addendum.
Professional advisers and authorities
We may disclose information to lawyers, accountants, auditors, insurers, and other professional advisers; to courts, regulators, law enforcement, or other authorities when required by law or legal process; or when reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, security, or property.
Business transactions
Information may be disclosed as part of due diligence for, or transferred in connection with, a financing, merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections where required.

We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined by applicable privacy law. The Site does not use advertising networks to track you across unrelated websites, and we do not disclose contact-form content to third parties for their own unrelated direct marketing. If these practices materially change, we will update this policy and provide any notice or choice required by law.

8. Retention

We retain contact-form submissions and related correspondence for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to and manage the inquiry, maintain appropriate business records, establish or defend legal claims, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. We retain security and request information for as long as reasonably necessary for Site operations, security, and the other purposes described in this policy.

Retention periods vary based on the nature and sensitivity of the information, the purpose for which it was collected, provider settings, legal requirements, and the risk associated with continued retention. When information is no longer needed under these criteria, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it, subject to limited retention in backups, security records, and records required by law.

9. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have the right to:

  • request access to or a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct inaccurate personal information;
  • ask us to delete personal information;
  • receive certain information in a portable format;
  • restrict or object to certain processing;
  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
  • opt out of marketing communications, sale or sharing of personal information, or targeted advertising where those rights apply;
  • appeal our decision on a privacy request; and
  • complain to the privacy or data-protection regulator where you live.

As described above, we do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

To exercise a privacy right, use the Site’s contact form with a business email address or send a written legal notice to the registered-agent address in Section 15. Please identify the right you wish to exercise and the information involved. We may need to verify your identity and authority before completing a request. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law, but we may request proof of authorization. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.

10. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. The Site uses encrypted HTTPS connections, Cloudflare network and security controls, Turnstile bot screening, same-origin checks, bounded requests, and strict contact-form input validation. Contact API responses are marked not to be stored in browser or intermediary caches. Contact messages are transmitted as plain-text email through Postmark with open and link tracking disabled. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. International processing

Our service providers may process information in countries where privacy laws differ from those where you live. We handle international transfers of personal information as required by applicable law.

12. Children’s privacy

The Site is intended for a business audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the Site. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our practices, services, or legal obligations change. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the “Last updated” date. If required by law, we will provide additional notice or request consent before a material change takes effect.

15. Contact and legal notices

For privacy questions or requests, send a message through our contact form if you have a business email address.
